Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher's death was triggered by sleep apnoea and various "other factors" but an exact cause could not be determined, a coroner has said.
Fisher, 60, went into cardiac arrest while on a flight to London to Los Angeles on December 23.
Fisher, daughter of actor Debbie Reynolds and late singer Eddie Fisher, was best known for her role as Princess Leia in the Star Wars franchise.
Fisher had a buildup of fat in the walls of her arteries, Los Angeles coroner's officials said in a news release.
The actress had long spoken about her battles with drug addiction and mental illness, becoming a particularly prominent voice for those who are bipolar.
Mr Fisher said his sister had written a lot about her drug use and that numerous things she took had been prescribed by doctors for her mental health conditions.
Additional autopsy and toxicology details were not available.
