Richland County Opening Shelter, County Offices Closed Monday

Richland County leaders made that announcement Friday afternoon. "It is our priority in these situations to ensure the safety of our students and staff".

Lee County schools wills be closed through Thursday.

All Anderson County schools will be closed on Monday, according to the school district's Facebook page.

These closings affect all students and staff in the Lexington Three attendance area and are also applicable to all after-school programs, scheduled athletic practices or games, and classes/events at the Lifelong Learning Center. The University of Georgia has cancelled all classes and activities on Monday.

The Wakulla County School District will be closed through Wednesday, 9/13.
