Rodgers shines late, Packers edge Cowboys 35-31

As it stands, the play will be largely forgotten, and when people speak of Sunday's Packers-Cowboys game they'll remember it ending with Aaron Rodgers saving the day.

He should assume his usual role as a starter alongside Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb if he's active against the Cowboys as expected.

In the loss, Prescott threw for 251 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran for another touchdown.

Officially, the Cowboys were credited with two lost fumbles on the play, and the Packers were credited with one.

Adams, who was cleared from the concussion protocol on Saturday, caught seven passes for 66 yards and two touchdowns in the Packers' 35-31 win Sunday over the Dallas Cowboys.

With quarterback Aaron Rodgers once more going all in, the Packers rose to the occasion to pull off a win in Week 5 of the regular season against the Dallas Cowboys.

The Cowboys were supposed to push that setback aside this season and, in Year 2 in the National Football League for quarterback Dak Prescott and tailback Ezekiel Elliott, take the next step from contender to Super Bowl team. In the first five weeks of the year, Zeke is averaging less that four yards per carry. He also made a key catch on the sideline that set up a Green Bay score late in the first half. With the win, the Packers move to 4-1.

Benjamin Mendy Gets Sidelined for Seven Months
Following the procedure, Mendy posted a picture on Twitter, with the caption: 'Surgery done: Jese and I nailed it. But Guardiola insisted yesterday that he is not concerned by his players' off-field activities.

Rodgers scrambled two plays earlier, on third-and-8, for 18 yards eschewing Mason Crosby and a potential game-tying field goal.

Nothing wrong with adding another lethal weapon to Aaron Rodgers' high-powered offense. After Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott helped ignite the Cowboys offense during their rookie season, Dallas has been inconsistent on offense in 2017.

Rodgers had one timeout at his disposal and said he was thinking touchdown, not field goal, the entire time. Rodgers went back to the same exact play, hitting Adams in a place only he could reach for the game-winning touchdown. Their one loss was at Kansas City, though they were tied at the halfway point of the fourth quarter, and within a score until the final two minutes of the game.

He led three game-winning drives in the fourth quarter or overtime during the 2016 season.

While the Packers certainly miss Ty Montgomery and his playmaking ability, it comes as a pleasant surprise to see their late round draft pick stepping up and playing incredibly well in such a tough environment. Apart from one bad whiff which led to a sack, Taylor stood his ground and was an integral part of the Packers win in Dallas. I don't know if he should lose his starting job just yet, but a healthy Chidobe Awuzie might be a better option if he can remain healthy.

Even tight end Martellus Bennett got things going, catching three passes for a season best 53 yards, including a 33-yard catch on a wheel route on safety Byron Jones. I hit Davante on a back shoulder to start the whole drive.
