Washington Post reporter apologizes for 'bad tweet' after Trump calls him out

Washington Post reporter apologizes for 'bad tweet' after Trump calls him out

Weigel's breezy assessment followed a firestorm of criticism, after he posted a misleading photo of a mostly empty arena, shot prior to Trump's Friday rally in Pensacola, Florida.

'Real photos now shown as I spoke. I deleted it after like 20 minutes.

In a separate tweet, he asserted Weigel should be fired. The president called journalists "sick people" at a rally in Phoenix, Ariz.in August; in September, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that an ESPN reporter's tweet calling Trump a "white supremacist" was a "fireable offense". Demand apology & retraction from FAKE NEWS WaPo!'

Meanwhile, Twitter comedians are fabricating their own feuds with Trump, which are at least as credible as the actual president's obsession with the crowd sizes.

Therefore, Weigel has no idea what time that particular photo was taken, and no one with any sense of ethics or concern for accuracy would judge crowd size based on any photograph without Trump standing at the podium.

He admitted that he was confused, but maintained that the "bad tweet" was from his personal social media account and not a story for Washington Post.

Airlines Are Set to Make Even More Money Off Passengers in 2018
For most of airlines' history, its financial performance has not matched the value that it creates, he told journalists. IATA noted that labour costs are now a larger expense item than fuel, comprising 30.9% of costs in 2018.

To repeat, for emphasis: Donald Trump, whose twitter feed is made up of the two substances of lies and childish overreactions, wants someone else fired for an inaccurate tweet that was immediately retracted and apologized for. He acknowledged it was a "bad tweet" from his personal account and said it was "very fair" to call him out.

Despite his apology, Trump believed Weigel must be fired.

Although everyone knows (and any exceptions do not include political journalists) that Trump's Friday night rally in Pensacola, Florida, was another jam-packed event with a near-capacity crowd of 12,000, Weigel appeared to be under the impression that the media has not already suffered enough of a black eye this week.

Bloomberg had to correct a report that said special counsel Robert Mueller issued a subpoena for bank records related to President Trump and his family.

Johndec also implied that Trump overreacted to "fake news" that CNN later corrected about Donald Trump, Jr. receiving advanced notice from WikiLeaks about hacked documents it was going to release during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Trump went on to let the public know that instead of having the goal to provide reliable and accurate news to the American public, CNN is focused on tearing down his administration via falsified news. However, National Park Service photos showed that there were far less attendees than former president Barack Obama's inauguration attracted in 2009.
