Parents Give Teachers Wine With Picture Of Son's Face

Parents Give Teachers Wine With Picture Of Son's Face

This year's gift was a wine bottle with a specialized label - a picture of Sommers' brother and the words, "Our child might be the reason you drink, so enjoy this bottle on us".

The wine bottles went viral after a photo was tweeted by Daniel Joseph "DJ" Sommers, a sophomore at Ohio State University and Jake's oldest sibling.

Dayton resident D.J. Sommers took to his Twitter account to note that his parents chose to give a different sort of Christmas gift to his younger brother's teachers this year.

Instead of the traditional candle or mug, teachers at an OH school are getting wine this holiday season.

"The teachers deserve the wine, that's all I'm going to say", Mary told Buzzfeed.

She gave her son's teachers wine bottles with his picture on them.

"Best thing I've seen all day", wrote one person on Sommers' Twitter account. But parents in OH got something more practical for their young son's teachers this year. He says, Jake is not a bad kid, but he is the class clown.

Mary also said that she went to the same high school as both of her sons and said she knows where her boys get their antics from, adding that she was "that kid" in school too. "But who doesn't need a glass of wine after teaching a kid like mine?" she said.

Jake Sommers acknowledged his role in making his teachers work a little harder.
