Suspects in death of 4-year-old MI girl captured in Georgia

Suspects in death of 4-year-old MI girl captured in Georgia

Sumpter Township Police responded to a 911 call on New Year's Day and found family members attempting CPR on the helpless girl.

Candice R. Diaz, 24, and Brad E. Fields, 28, were taken into custody this afternoon near Lake Park, Ga.by the U.S. Marshals Service.

Police said that the home where the girl was found with serious scald wounds was full of animal waste and contained guns and drugs. She had severe burns to her body and was pronounced dead at an Ann Arbor Hospital.

The death was ruled a homicide two days later by the Washtenaw County Medical Examiner, according to police, with evidence of multiple traumatic injuries indicating child abuse.

Diaz, 24, and Fields, 28, are suspected in the death of her 4-year-old daughter Gabby Barrett.

Police say an arrest warrant has been approved for Diaz and Fields on the charges of felony murder, second degree murder, first degree child abuse and torture.

"She didn't have to pass the way she did, but I hope we get justice for her really soon", Barrett said.

Trump's behavior at the College Football Playoff Championship raised some questions
He said his grandfather had taught him to do this only during the pledge, and to only sing during the anthem. Many observers were unimpressed, pointing out that Trump had adopted a position as guardian of the anthem.

Currently, US Marshals are offering a reward of up to $5000 leading to the arrest of Candice Diaz and Brad Fields.

"She's just a little angel". Once there, cops reportedly found Diaz in distress and a dog suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the report. Officers had to storm the home on May 20, 2016, after receiving a report of a gunman barricaded inside following a domestic assault.

According to the report, Diaz told cops her boyfriend was mentally ill.

The disgusting home was littered with rubbish, rotten food and pet urine.

He was later arrested on domestic violence charges. She told investigators she wanted to confess to owning a firearm with an "obliterated" serial number and an unregistered firearm, which were the weapons police recovered from the home. WDIV reported that Diaz was booked on weapons charges at that time.

"She was an overall fantastic kid".
