Quinnipiac Poll: Trump is intelligent but not level headed

Trump took to Twitter Thursday to boast about the results of a new Quinnipiac University poll, saying "66% of people feel the economy is 'Excellent or Good'".

The poll, polled among 1,106 voters from January 5-9, also found American voters opposing 63 - 34 percent building a wall along the U.S. -Mexico border. "Something noble about the presidency", former CBS news anchor Dan Rather told Salon in November.

The poll, which surveyed 940 voters, also found that a majority of Georgia voters - 57 percent - are not satisfied with the way things are going in the United States, AJC reported. "That is the highest number ever recorded by this poll". When asked if Trump is honest, 63 percent said he is not.

"What's true is that after conferring with the experts who are involved in this process ... the president discovered that part of it will be, he knows, part of it will be the physical wall, part of it is better technology, part of it is also fencing", Conway said during an interview on CNN late Wednesday. Fifty-three percent say he is intelligent, while 44 percent say he is not.

"President Trump can hang his hat on the economy, but must share the hat rack with President Barack Obama, as two-thirds of the country see the economic picture as excellent or good", Malloy said.

Thirty-seven percent of respondents said Trump's policies are helping the nation's economy, while 29 percent said he is hurting the economy, and 30 percent said the administration's policies are not making a difference.
