Rapper Nelly files countersuit after being sued for sexual assault

Warning: there are graphic descriptions of sexual assault below.

A woman who alleges the rapper Nelly raped her on his tour bus after a performance in Seattle says he sexually assaulted two other women in England.

Back in October, the rapper was accused of sexually assaulting a woman on his tour bus.

The Associated Press reported that Nelly then filed court papers Friday in King County Superior Court, denying the claims against him.

Criminal charges are not being pursued in the case, but NPR has obtained a copy of an amended civil lawsuit filed in the Superior Court of King County, Wash., on January 22.

Rapper Nelly's girlfriend is hitting out at two new sexual assault accusations made against her man, insisting they are "false claims". He placed his hand on her leg, rubbed it and put his hand up her dress. Jane Doe no. 1 says that she firmly removed Nelly's hand and got up to leave, but the rapper argued and tried to force her to stay. "Jane Doe 2" alleges that in December 2017, also after one of Nelly's England shows, she was invited onto his tour bus along with some of her friends. There, she claims the rapper invited her and a friend into a smaller room, then to an after party.

The woman says the second time they were secluded, Nelly dropped his trousers and began masturbating, tried to pull off her top without her consent, and tried to kiss her repeatedly. "Nelly recognizes the need for women who are victims of sexual assault of any kind to be heard and our existing systems changed", Nelly's lawyer, Scott Rosenblum, said in a statement last month.

Legendary writer Ursula Ok. Le Guin dies at 88
Settling down in Portland on their return to the United States it would be a decade before Le Guinn had her first book published. She published more than 20 novels, a dozen poetry collections, seven essay collections and 13 children's books.

Jane Doe 2 says she too attended a Nelly concert and after he asked her to follow him to his room so they could get to know each other, he closed the door, stood in front of it, and dropped his drawers. The woman says Nelly responded, "No, I'm just frustrated, I'm not used to not getting my way, just do it". She was able to scramble out of the room. He has also filed a motion to dismiss Greene's claims for defamation.

The suit includes details on Greene's own accusations.

Greene said she believes this is his tactic with all women after being made aware of two others who she claims suffered the exact same fate she did.

Nelly is firing back at the woman accusing him of rape. Greene called for an Uber and then called police to report the alleged incident which would eventually lead to Nelly's arrest for rape. Greene's friend chose to leave at that point, while Greene remained in Nelly's group.

The other plaintiff, a married mother of two, said Nelly masturbated in front of her in December 2017 after he took her to a room adjacent to his dressing room.

This comes after Nelly reportedly admitted to having unprotected s*x with Monique Green, but says it was consensual.
