National Football League to release regular season schedule Thursday

National Football League to release regular season schedule Thursday

The game will air on NFL Network.

The Falcons lead the all-time series 52-46.

The 2018 NFL schedule will be announced in its entirety tonight at 8:00pm ET on the NFL Network, but some games have already leaked including the season-opener. The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane reported that the Falcons will come to the Linc for the contest. They've played in London each of the past five seasons. The Jacksonville Jaguars will host the Philadelphia Eagles and the Los Angeles Chargers will host the Tennessee Titans.

Worthy of note, the 49ers nearly beat Los Angeles in Week 3, a Thursday Night game that may have been the best of the slate, and was an absolute shoot-out from the opening gun to 00:00 on the clock, resulting in a 41-39 win for LA.

As Super Bowl champs and a team with a star quarterback in Carson Wentz, Philadelphia enters the 2018 season as one of the NFL's marquee squads.

Mainers saddened by news of Barbara Bush's declining health
Her 93-year-old husband, the nation's 41st president who served from 1989 to 1993, also has had health issues in recent years. The statement did not indicate the nature of Bush's illness but said that she had had a series of recent hospitalisations.

It had been rumored in the offseason that the Eagles could potentially open up the season at home against the Vikings, a rematch of last year's NFC Championship game.

Both teams will come into 2018 with elite defenses, so the Jags and Eagles matchup will likely come down to which offense takes better care of the ball.

It has now been 10 years since the National Football League chose to play games outside of the United States.

There's no word on other potential Chiefs games but the team was given six primetime games last season.
