Saudi Arabia BLASTS Iran leader for 'making Adolf HITLER look GOOD'

Saudi Arabia BLASTS Iran leader for 'making Adolf HITLER look GOOD'

It reported that at a meeting with Jewish leaders in NY last month, the Saudi prince said the Palestinians should either start accepting peace proposals or "shut up". Kushner reached out to bin Salman for guidance on the region after Trump appointed him to the administration's team that would oversee negotiations between Palestinians and Israelis. The Israeli prime minister himself is one of many rejectionists that staunchly oppose the global formula for peace based on worldwide law.

"In the last several decades the Palestinian leadership has missed one opportunity after the other and rejected all the peace proposals it was given".

Bin Salman reportedly pressured Abbas to accept the U.S. framework for peace after Trump's recognition of Jerusalem.

According to the Israeli paper, Bin Salman made two other points on the Palestinian issue during the meeting.

Saudi crown prince criticises Palestinian leadership, says must accept what USA offers or stop complaining, report says. "It is about time the Palestinians take the proposals and agree to come to the negotiations table or shut up and stop complaining", the Saudis' defacto leader reportedly said.

Israel has hinted at clandestine ties with Saudi Arabia in recent years, stressing that the two countries share an interest in countering Iran.

It turns out that Palestine does not play a very significant role in President Donald Trump's foreign policy. His remarks -which the king had to scramble to mitigate- suggest that Saudi Arabia's purported leadership of the Arab world will not include in its future course of action the protection of Palestine, the most grievous wound of the Arab world.

While leveling harsh criticism against the Palestinians, Ben Salman conceded that in order for Saudi Arabia and other Arab states to normalize relations with Israel, at least some progress on the Israeli-Palestinian diplomatic process would have to be made.

The Saudi Arabian public and media have previously been heavily critical of Israeli treatment of Palestinians. With an intense crackdown on freedom of expression in the country, it is hard to gauge how well this turn has been taken in by citizens of the country.

Axious quoted a source who, briefed on the meeting, said the attendees were stunned when they heard the Saudi prince's comments on the Palestinian issue.
