Doctor: Trump Dictated Letter Attesting To His 'Extraordinary' Health

Doctor: Trump Dictated Letter Attesting To His 'Extraordinary' Health

Donald Trump's former doctor has said that he felt "raped, frightened and sad" after a top White House aide conducted a "raid" on his New York City offices and took the US President's health records past year, according to a new report.

"He dictated the whole letter".

President Trump's longtime personal physician said Tuesday it was Mr. Trump himself who dictated a 2015 letter saying Mr. Trump would be the "healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency". Actually, his blood pressure, 110/65, and laboratory test results were astonishingly excellent.

The letter boasts how Trump's "physical strength and stamina are extraordinary" and that if he was elected he "unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency". "I didn't write that letter", Dr Harold Bornstein has told CNN. Anyone surprised by this must not have read the letter, which read like one of Trump's ad-libbed speeches full of him stroking his own ego.

Bornstein told NBC News that the "raid", as he called it, took place on February 3, 2017, days after a news report came out featuring a disclosure from Bornstein that he prescribed the hair growth medication Propecia to Trump.

Sarah Sanders, the White House press secretary, called it "standard operating procedure" to obtain a newly elected president's medical records.

North Korea Says It Will Close Its Nuclear Test Site Next Month
He said that at Trump's direction, he spoke with Kim about the release of three USA citizens detained by North Korea. As to the channel's information, these states are included in the short list of possible sites for their meeting.

Questions have also been raised about Bornstein's disclosure in 2017 that he had prescribed hair-growth medication to Trump, which prompted a shocking raid on Bornstein's office by a White House employee and a Trump Organization lawyer. He says they stayed for about 30 minutes before leaving.

The incident left him "raped, frightened and sad", he said.

The letter, penned in 2015, has drawn sharp criticism for painting the president's health in allegedly unmerited glowing terms.

Bornstein says the men showed up unannounced and demanding records.

Two days later, Bornstein recalled, he was in his office when three men arrived, without warning, and demanded all of Trump's medical records.

"I couldn't believe anybody was making a big deal out of a drug to grow his hair that seemed to be so important", he said. But an independent evaluation could go a long way toward informing the public while preventing situations like Trump's allegedly faked doctor note.
