Barca wants to win El Clasico

Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale lashed home to deny La Liga champions Barcelona victory in an ill-tempered "Clasico" which finished 2-2 at the Nou Camp on Sunday after the home side had Sergi Roberto sent off at the end of the first half.

The 33-year-old looked in discomfort but continued for the rest of the half, only to be replaced by Marco Asensio at the start of the second period.

"They'll come with the idea of ending our unbeaten streak and hopefully it'll be a good game".

"Luckily for us, we're champions already".

BARCELONA, Spain (AP) - Rivals Barcelona and Real Madrid showed Sunday that they don't need titles at stake to produce a thrilling game of football.

In the fiery encounter which produced eight yellow cards and a red card that led to the sending off of Sergi Roberto, Messi restored Barcelona's lead despite the numerical disadvantage.

Internationally, the film earned an estimated $162.6 million this weekend, making for a current foreign total of $713.3 million. The Avengers ($1.52 billion) now holds the record for the biggest global total for a superhero film.

Though it's not in the spirit of the game to wish an injury on a player - especially one of the best ever - one or two Liverpool fans may be hoping this one is serious enough to keep him out for say, around four weeks?

Suarez felt he had been elbowed by Sergio Ramos, prompting the first round of scuffles, before Messi was booked for flying into the defender on the touchline.

Ramos also felt that Suarez was guilty of time wasting in the second half, which is why he didn't put the ball out when the Barca forward appeared to be down injured.

Suarez won the ball back from Raphael Varane after a side-to-side collision and passed to Messi, who used a blistering strike of his left boot to drive the ball just inside the post.

Barcelona's players held an impromptu celebration on the pitch for the result and its domestic double, with the coaching staff giving them the guard of honor that Madrid's players declined to do before kickoff. "That's the positive. We're happy because we can still end the league season without losing".
