Shameful: France angry over Trump's remarks on Paris attacks

"France expresses its firm disapproval of President Trump's comments in relation to the attack of the 13 November 2015 in Paris and we demand that the memory of the victims be respected".

TheFrench Foreign Ministry has expressed its disagreement with President Donald Trump's statements regarding the 2015 series of terrorist attacks in Paris that left more then 100 dead and hundreds more injured.

"They took their time and gunned them down one by one", Trump said as he pointed his fingers in the shape of a gun.

The Los Angeles Times reports that Trump referenced the attack as proof that gun control does not control bad people.

The President mimicked the terrorists slowly killing their victims when in reality they were armed with automatic weapons and bombs. Boom. Come over here.

Francois Hollande, who held the presidency during the events described, commented on the speech trump on his page on the social network Twitter, calling it "shameful and indecent".

Iowa lawmakers pass ban on most abortions, aiming for court fight
Supporters of the legislation, however, are hopeful the measure can be a catalysis for change in the abortion debate. Ohio GOP legislators in March mounted a challenge to Roe by passing a law that would criminalize abortion care.

"It's just politically convenient, in a speech to the gun rights lobby, to try and make those comparisons and they are totally spurious".

"UK knife crime nowhere near your off-the-scale gun deaths", she said.

Donald Trump gestures after speaking at a National Rifle Association (NRA) convention in Dallas. He said, "Paris, France, has the toughest gun laws in the world". Mr Trump didn't identify the source of the information and didn't provide the name of the hospital. "They have knives and instead there's blood all over the floors of this hospital", Trump said. The first lady's spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham, says the focus will be on the overall wellbeing of children, which Mrs Trump has spoken about since becoming first lady.

Hollande, president throughout the strikes, called Trump's gesture "disgusting" Discussing BFM tele-vision Sunday, Hollande called Trump's comments "intolerable" for its lands and victims' families.

While making the knife crime comment, Trump was apparently referring to a comment Dr. Martin Griffiths, a surgeon at The Royal Hospital, made to BBC 4 a month ago, where he admitted his hospital was likened to an Afghan war zone. A trauma specialist from the Royal London hospital hit back by pointing out that people are twice as likely to die from gunshot wounds as knife injuries.

Happy to invite Mr Trump to my (prestigious) hospital to meet with our mayor and police commissioner to discuss our successes in violence reduction in London, Griffiths tweeted, alongside an image which indicated the United States president had missed the point of his statement.
