Melania Trump returns to border state amid separation outcry

Although the Trump administration has ended family separation at the border, there are still children who have yet to be reunited with their families.

Melania Trump is headed back to Texas - and it's safe to guess which item won't make it on her packing list this time.

This time, she was wearing simple white pants with a thin black track stripe running halfway up the side, a black boat neck top with a 3/4 sleeve (how Audrey Hepburn of her), and black flats.

The visit came a week after Mrs Trump wore a jacket with a message on the back to and from the border town of McAllen, Texas that overshadowed her visit with officials and some migrant children.

On Thursday, the first lady boarded her plane bound for the US-Mexico border dressed simply in a black shirt and white slacks. Many have yet to be reunited.

The choice ignited the internet and spawned a slew of memes about what the first lady, a former model, may have meant.

After landing, Melania visited a Customs and Border Patrol facility, where she spoke with members of Border Patrol, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the U.S. Marshals Service and a local rancher.

The Kremlin has said USA national security adviser John Bolton plans to visit Moscow, without providing details about the trip.

Her first stop was a Customs and Border Protection processing facility in Tucson, Arizona, where immigrants apprehended after illegally crossing into the country are held.

Grisham said the first lady wanted to learn about the border processes making news around the world.

"This facility is about two hours away from the actual USA border, but is the first place individuals (parents and children together) are brought immediately after detention at the border", the first lady's communications director Stephanie Grisham said Thursday, according to a pool report.

"The rhetoric we hear from the other side on this issue - as on so many others - has become radicalized", Sessions said.

Police repeatedly warned several dozen demonstrators on Campbell Avenue to stay on the sidewalk as they gathered in front of the Southwest Key facility housing migrant children.

Over the past two months, about 2,300 children have been separated from their parents in Trump's "zero tolerance" policy on illegal crossing of the Mexican border.

This would be Trump's second visit to the border since her husband, President Donald Trump, signed an executive order last week ending his administration's practice of separating families at the border. On Tuesday, a federal judge ordered that thousands of migrant chilren and their parents be re-united within 30 days-or less if the child is under 5.
