Another hot, humid day with afternoon storms possible

Another hot, humid day with afternoon storms possible

Showers and storms continue to work across the region tonight into Tuesday. It's a sweatfest and we may have to dodge some storms, too. There could be a few quick afternoon pop-up showers on Monday, but nothing severe or long lasting. Highs will top-out in the upper 80s and lower 90s.

Sun: High: 92 Low: 69 Decreasing clouds.

We'll be tracking these storms through the day here on NBC12!

Fri: High: 96 Low: 78 Partly cloudy to mostly sunny.

A line of storms moved into the tri-state Tuesday, bringing powerful winds, thunder and lightning, and rain so heavy it could easily spur flash flooding. Flooding will likely not be an issue but water could stack up a bit in low lying areas that have seen heavy rain over the past few days.
