Donald Trump Refuses to Answer McCain Questions In White House

He opposed the president's nominee for Central Intelligence Agency director, Gina Haspel, because of her past role in overseeing torture, scolded Trump for alienating US allies at an worldwide summit, labeled the administration's zero-tolerance immigration policy "an affront to the decency of the American people" and denounced the Trump-Vladimir Putin summit in Helsinki as a "tragic mistake", in which Trump put on "one of the most disgraceful performances by an American president in memory". McCain was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor a year ago and died aged 81 on Saturday in Arizona.

For three decades in politics, since 1980, and many before as a navy serviceman, MCain served the United States in distinguished places, earning his votes each election cycle because the State of Arizona believed in his representation.

After a memorial service Saturday at the Washington National Cathedral, with eulogies from former presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush, McCain will be buried Sunday at his college alma mater, the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.

Colonel Trần Trọng Duyệt praised McCain for both his conduct during his imprisonment and later work as a USA politician.

Democratic and Republican governors from around the country have ordered flags lowered to half-staff in remembrance of the late Arizona Sen. Daniel Inouye, president pro tem of the Senate, who died in office in December 2012.

Brit Hume called out the tweet, which says: "My deepest sympathies and respect go out to the family of Senator John McCain".

The Rev. Billy Graham earlier this year became one of four people who have lain in honor at the Capitol, which is different from lying in state.

Cubs nearing deal for Daniel Murphy
Martínez has a 6-6 record with a 3.41 ERA in 18 starts this season, striking out 98 batters in 100.1 innings. Three of them - Bryce Harper , first baseman Matt Adams and second baseman Daniel Murphy - were claimed.

President Donald Trump has long feuded with McCain, and is reportedly not invited to his funeral.

In the statement, McCain reflected on the privilege of serving his country and said he tried to do so honorably.

"We are saddened to hear of the passing of John McCain".

President Donald Trump rejected a White House statement mourning the loss of John McCain and praising the late senator and war hero, according to a report from The Washington Post.

Instead, Trump issued a brief statement on Twitter Saturday night, that did not mention any of McCain's accomplishments.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, "I am deeply saddened by the passing of John McCain, a great American patriot and a great supporter of Israel". She added, "Thank you for all your continued support and prayers".

Something important to note: this is not a statement about how John McCain should be remembered, nor is it a defense of McCain's actions during his life. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., said Sunday on CBS' "Face the Nation", and "to ask them to speak at your funeral, and for them to be honored at the opportunity, that tells you all you need to know".
