Champions League: Mourinho’s Man United misfire in Valencia stalemate

As a symbol of the shambolic state of things at Manchester United these days, the sight of the team bus carrying Jose Mourinho and his players turning up just 45 minutes before kick-off at Old Trafford felt rather fitting.

The Red Devils were well below-par as they continued their run without a win to four matches and they haven't won at Old Trafford since the first day of the season.

The result means the Red Devils are second in Group H, two points behind Juventus and three above third-place Valencia, but the manner of the display will do little to ease the pressure on their under-fire manager, with Marcus Rashford's late free-kick the closest they game to a victor.

Speaking afterwards, Mourinho seemed to warn United fans not to expect much success from 2018-19 and claimed he could not be honest in his assessment for fear of further criticism of his methods.

Judiciary Democrats Demand Kavanaugh Hearing Be Postponed Over Allegations
Add Supreme Court as an interest to stay up to date on the latest Supreme Court news, video , and analysis from ABC News . Kavanaugh has denied three other allegations against him, all involving women who have come forward publicly.

"I think it's a bad situation", he said on BT Sport.

Another game, another headache for Jose who is experiencing another low point in his managerial career with his Manchester United side having tasted no victory in their last three matches.

"I'm actually sat here surprised he survived after Saturday, the performance was that bad". We were the team that tried more, that had probably a couple of big chances to win, but I accept the result as a fair result. We knew we wouldn't create 20 chances we know that our attacking players are not also in their best moment of confidence and individual performance level.

'The teams that are really, really good offensively are the teams that are very, very solid from the back'.
