Melania Trump Shows of Dance Moves in Kenya

Her first-ever visit to Africa is also her first extended solo global trip as first lady in what some see as "fence-mending".

The US First Lady Melania is expected to leave the country on Friday morning.

The first lady laughed after one elephant in the group of 18 made a sudden move and she momentarily lost her footing.

After petting one baby elephant, Trump was nudged by the elephant, drawing a Secret Service agent to step forward to protect her, The Star reported.

Following her visit to the children's home, Melania quickly changed outfits - switching her safari-style ensemble for a billowing green and white striped dress - before meeting Kenyan first lady Margaret Kenyatta at the State House in Nairobi.

The first lady spent time with a herd of elephants in the park and fed formula to two that are being raised at the park.

Mrs Trump and Mrs Kenyatta's talks centred on the welfare of mothers and children and conversation, in line with their Be Best and Beyond Zero campaigns, respectively.

Melania will leave Kenya for Egypt on Saturday where she will conclude her solo week-long tour of four African countries. "Her attire is a signal of her understanding of what Africa is in 2018".

Brett Kavanaugh: Trump doubts 'drunk' sex assault accuser
About 200 people gathered in front of the Supreme Court building in Washington , chanting: "I believe Christine Ford."U.S. Capitol Police reported that 128 people were arrested on charges of unlawfully demonstrating in Senate office buildings".

She went directly to Chipala Primary School in Lilongwe, where she watched teachers carry out lessons to help the students learn English and the Chichewa language. She also read a story to the children and received a story reading in return.

She also stopped at a site where 105 tons of ivory was burned as part of an effort to discourage the trade. Trump's adult sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, are trophy hunters.

But on social media, the angry tweets and hashtags about the helmet rolled in: #FLOTUSinAfricaBingo documented what some felt were Trump's tone-deaf fashion choices.

Later during a visit at the US embassy in Malawi, the first lady called her visit to the school an "amazing experience".

Mrs. Trump is on her first extended solo worldwide trip as first lady.

"No child in this country is without a book", Malawi's Education Minister Bright Msaka told the first lady.

Mrs. Trump opened the trip Tuesday in Ghana and visited Malawi on Thursday.
