Apple Debuts Thinner, Lighter & Faster MacBook Air With Retina Display

Apple Debuts Thinner, Lighter & Faster MacBook Air With Retina Display

MacBook Air also features the third-generation Apple-designed keyboard for more precise and responsive typing. It's late to the game, sure, but now that it is here and with the holiday season upon us, Apple is likely going to sell a lot of these in the coming months.

Apple has finally announced an updated MacBook Air laptop at its October product event, confirming rumours from earlier this year that it was planning to revive the device.

Meanwhile, Apple's new MacBook Air features a 13.3-inch Retina Display and comes with Touch ID support. The sensor is embedded in the keyboard and comes paired with Apple's T2 security chip. That has left users and businesses hanging on to old machines for longer than expected, who Applehope will jump to purchase the new MacBook Air. Overall, it weighs 2.75 lbs, a quarter pound lighter than its previous Air. Pre-orders begin today and first deliveries are slated for November 7.

Local woman arrested in Thailand
They are charged with vandalism after CCTV footage showed them spray-painting a 13th Century red brick wall near Tha Phae Gate. Lee Furlong and Brittney Schneider, both 23, were a‌rr‌est‌e‌d‌ at a hostel in Chiang Mai on Friday, Thai Rath News reported.

The previous MacBook Air model is still available at $999. "It's time for a new MacBook Air-one that takes the MacBook Air experience even further in the areas that are most important to our customers".

All of that with pretty much the same battery life promises as before - up to 12 hours of web browsing. Prices start at $1,199, making this the most affordable Retina Mac yet. The FaceTime camera will remain at the top of the display, however. We can hardly blame Apple for sticking with the knife's edge design of the original MacBook Air. Every MacBook Air is now made from 100% recycled aluminum, reducing its carbon footprint by 50%. The MacBook Air 2018 is an interesting device in that it sticks to relatively the same design while completely overhauling the display, processor and inputs. Among other changes, the size and weight of the enclosure have also been decreased, two Thunderbolt 3 ports line one edge, screen bezels have been reduced, and new color options are available. The screen on the new MacBook Air has four times resolution with four million pixels to offer more detail and 48 per cent more colour reproduction. Mercifully, you'll still be able to find a headphone jack on this laptop as well. Apple will offer MacBook Airs in space gray, silver, and gold finishes. "Unlike any notebook that's come before or since, MacBook Air has become the most beloved notebook ever". Yes, there's a fingerprint scanner on the MacBook Air for better security.

Under the chassis, you'll get Intel's latest eighth-generation dual-core mobile processors, which deliver decent performance for lappy parts.
