Manchester United players should ignore Jose Mourinho - Martin Keown

Manchester United players should ignore Jose Mourinho - Martin Keown

Mourinho has had his say on Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool this week, jibing at them for having not won any trophies under the German.

The time they will be out will vary but the former two are likely to be sidelined for about five weeks, taking Klopp to the middle of next month.

The Reds' tally of 42 points after 16 games is the fourth-best start to a campaign in top-flight history, behind Manchester City (46 points in 2017-18), Tottenham Hotspur (46 in 1960-61) and Chelsea (43 in 2005-06).

Rio Ferdinand believes Manchester United require urgent changes if they are to return to the top of the Premier League.

The players given a chance by Mourinho in Valencia, including Paul Pogba, did not make convincing cases to be included but, despite his selection problems and the respective form of the two teams, Mourinho insisted he would be going to Anfield targeting the three points.

Premier League leaders Liverpool boast a 16-point lead over their historic rivals at the top of the table just 16 games into the season, with United languishing down in sixth and already eight points off the top four. "Another thing is to say in a conscious way in relation to the potential you have".

"They are a good team, the intensity they play at makes the game hard, but we have to match that and try to improve it".

Big trouble for Apple’s new iPhones
In detail, a Chinese court has ordered Apple to ban sales of some Apple iPhones which are violating the two Qualcomm patents. The filing points that the ban would force settle Apple's ongoing dispute with Qualcomm.

"It was always a hard game to play against them".

Should they get through Sunday unscathed, they'll have to try and navigate a busy Christmas period that could define their season once and for all. "Rafael Camacho played outstandingly well in pre-season there [at right-back]", Klopp said in his press conference, as cited by the Liverpool Echo. They also know that we have our weaknesses, our strengths, and I think they will respect our strengths.

I think Liverpool can end their winless run against the Red Devils, but I'm not confident enough to back them at such a short price.

Liverpool now lead the Premier League table by a point from Pep Guardiola's side, and are yet to lose in the top-flight.

"We have defended very well - we've got a lot of clean sheets this season. In the moment you find someone who can do the job better you have to take him".

"It's always a good feeling to see the ball hit the back of the net but, in the last game, I was happy anyway".

"I don't know if trophies matter, it depends on the way you approach it", said Mourinho, who quickly added that he did.
