Free 'Resident Evil 2: The Ghost Survivors' Mode Announced

The genre-defining masterpiece Resident Evil 2 returns, completely rebuilt from the ground up for a deeper narrative experience.

Fans of Resident Evil 2 can enjoy a free gameplay mode called The Ghost Survivors and classic costumes for Resident Evil 2 as part of the post-launch content plans for the game. This will feature multiple playable characters, including Robert Kendo and Katherine (the mayor's daughter), and includes randomized elements, an in-game shop, and a loose narrative. "However, the balance between horror, exploration, and action I found in Resident Evil 2, combined with the franchise's legacy has gotten me invested not only in the remake but also in revisiting other games in the franchise". Additionally, the mode is said to be very replayable.

As for cosmetic bonuses, classic 98 models for both Leon and Claire will be made available via specially marked PSN cards in Japan. Capcom will make them free on March 22nd so anyone can purchase and download these DLC costumes afterward. You're desperate. Otherwise you wouldn't be searching for Resident Evil 2 Early Access and whether you can play RE 2 early before release.

Iran Prepping to Eliminate Israel from Earth
On Sunday, Iranian Quds Forces operating in Syria launched a surface-to-surface rocket from Syria aimed at Israel's Golan Heights. The Israeli raids caused one of the highest death tolls of the raids Israel has undertaken to fight Iran's entrenchment in Syria.

Though we don't know much about the mode, we do know that it will have a few enemies that players won't find in the base game.

Are you looking forward to Resident Evil 2 Remake?

Resident Evil 2 releases on January 25 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, so make sure to check out the available pre-order bonuses while there's still time.
