Adam Sandler Sets ‘Saturday Night Live’ Hosting Debut For May

Grab your guitars and put on your red-hooded sweatshirts, because Adam Sandler will finally add another bullet point to his Hall-of-Fame SNL career: host.

Sandler got his start on the show as a writer back in 1990.

On May 4, Sandler will return to "SNL" to make his hosting debut, alongside musical guest Shawn Mendes.

Sandler, who appeared on the show from 1991-95 having joined in 1990 as a writer, now appears in his latest Netflix comedy special 100% Fresh. Some of his most famous performances from the era include his portrayal of the effusive Opera Man, tired husband Hank Gelfand, and the infamous "Chanukah Song". "Why should I? I don't know how good it would be".

Early election talk grows as Brexit supporters accuse British MPs of betrayal
However, 34 members of the European Research Group voted against, along with 10 Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) MPs. The failure by Parliament to agree the terms of Brexit has left businesses unable to plan even a few weeks ahead.

The comedian will return to the show that made him famous for his first hosting gig, Variety reported. The appearance will mark Mendes' second time as a musical guest on the show.

Sandler has nothing especially timely to plug with his SNL encore, unless one counts a Netflix special that came out five months ago, or a Netflix flick, Murder Mystery, that doesn't yet have a premiere date.

He is slated to reprise his role of voicing Dracula in Hotel Transylvania 4 and his most recent comedy special, 100% Fresh is now streaming on Netflix.
