V8.30 Fortnite update brings Reboot Vans and Cards

V8.30 Fortnite update brings Reboot Vans and Cards

Reboot Cards are also coming in as a new item, which a player drops when dying. Once you do revive all of your team mates, the van would be unusable for a certain period of time before being usable again by other squads or players.

Epic announced via their "Dev Update" video series that Fortnte will soon have a respawn feature.

A respawn mechanic is welcome news to nearly anyone in the Fortnite community.

With the collected badges you run then to a van, where you can activate the reboot card. Their squadmates can bring the card to a reboot van to bring them back to life. The player will drop down with nothing but a pickaxe and the Reboot Van used will need to recharge.

The 31-year-old Argentina captain said he still wants to win a tournament and will keep trying with the team under coach Lionel Scaloni.

If you've played Apex Legends, you might recognise this system. This is what can be considered one of the most unique features that Apex Legends had, and Fortnite will be implementing this with the "reboot" vans. Epic has confirmed that Reboot Vans are shipping with the next update, which is likely coming early next week.

The addition of Reboot Vans is going to be included in v8.30. When one of your teammates bites the dust, you can pick up their banner from their loot box and take it to one of those Beacons to bring them back into the game. These vans are found at several prominent locations across the Battle Royale map.

According to Epic Games, "players will edit incorrect structure if backed up against a friendly built structure". If you're curious how the Reboot Van works, then we've got the details. It's unclear if the reboot vans will be included in the upcoming "Fortnite World Cup."

Recently there has been much discussion about how Fortnite can slow down the game to have more players in the endgame.
